Amidst times of global uncertainty, Tutara Peak, Aether and Zes proudly present ‘Daydream’; a contemporary sonic unification, released to raise funds and spread awareness for the UN Refugee Agency.
Donating all proceeds to the UN Refugee Agency, each contribution will support refugees, displaced people and their host communities with access to essential healthcare services and supplies before, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Constructing an eccentric sonic palette showcasing the splintering live instrumentation of Tutara Peak, the cascading atmospheres of Aether, and the bittersweet songwriting and voice of Zes, ‘Daydream’ also features dulcet harmonies from Lapalux-collaborator, Lilia alongside carefully curated synths, performed by Grand Pavilion.
Released through the newly conceived Analogue Dawn label and representing an array of distinct cultural and creative backgrounds, ‘Daydream’ seeks to support those less fortunate in a time when global unification is more important than ever.
lyrics
(we) take it one end
and then we lose it again
look up to the sky and say
please catch us
please save us
find your friends
guess we’re at it again
so long as we see
right
through the waterline
safe with your guard up
I’m holding my head up
I'm way too high
(way too high)
safe with your guard up
I’m holding my head up
I'm way too high
Simon says the only way up is down
and only we lose the game we go to sleep
Simon says the only way up is down
and only we lose the game we go to sleep
taking a stand
do we want to waste it again
look over the crowds and see
there’s no one here
to save us
find your friends
guess we’re at it again
so long as we see
right
through the waterline
safe with your guard up
I’m holding my head up
I'm way too high
(way too high)
safe with your guard up
I’m holding my head up
I'm way too high
Simon says the only way up is down
and now that we have lost the game we find our peace
Simon says the only way up is down
and now that we have lost the game we find our peace
safe with your guard up
I’m holding my head up
I'm way too high
(way too high)
Simon says the only way up is down
and now that we have lost the game we find our peace.

Ekcle have a special place in my heart. They blend different styles and types of sound together, and somehow manage to make it all sound astonishing, surreal, coherent and fresh every time. Nikki
Noisia style neurofunk meets glitch hop, IDM, jazz, world, ambient, elevator music, and who knows what else. This amalgam of genres has no right to work, but KOAN Sound somehow pulled it off, creating perhaps one of the most innovative albums ever. Every song is fantastic, either being a banger, atmospheric, emotive, or all three at once. furrybeans
Just discovered you with Serpent Grail, and your sound is great, so crazy, each title has different colours, sounds, it is rich, precise, thin, accurate, the kind of music I really love, everything is in harmonie, lot of little details comming to tinkle your ears.
really great dope, thanks guys filthy_fox
